Bill has been aware of Pelotonia for several years through friends that had taken up the challenge of raising funds for cancer research. He had not put much thought into participating himself, until a close family member received a diagnosis of cancer. He remembers feeling helpless in his effort to help them. Though he doesn't work in the medical field, what could he do? That’s when he remembered Pelotonia. He was inspired by the work that his friends had done by raising funds and awareness. It was that very awareness that caused him to take action and join in. This is Bill's second year and he is excited to help raise funds for the life saving cancer research that is being done at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
